Metal Wolf Chaos lands on Xbox One soon, runs at 4K resolution on Xbox One X

In 2004, FromSoftware was contracted by Microsoft to develop a mech game for the original Xbox. Giving the title a bit of an American theme and intentionally working to differentiate it from the Armored Core series, the result was Metal Wolf Chaos. This game is best described as violently American, featuring, among other things: machine guns, rocket launchers and a shark gun to defeat any foes that impede on the spirit of American patriotism.

Unfortunately, the game was never brought to Western audiences, until Devolver Digital recently announced that they were working with FromSoftware to remaster the game and bring it to modern platforms. In addition to upgraded visuals, 16:9 aspect ratio support for standard displays and refined, smoother controls, Metal Wolf Chaos is 4K on Xbox One X, so owners of the system can look forward to that feature. The game is set to release soon and is scheduled to be available on August 6.
